Yum Yum (Kielbasa and Spinach Pasta)
Jump to Recipe
Yum Yum, or (Kielbasa and Spinach Pasta), is a staple in our household. This meal is quick, easy, and everyone loves it. This dish is one you can’t go wrong with. My family nicknamed it Yum Yum for a reason! My 2 1/2-year-old son loves this meal, and we all know how difficult it can be cooking for a toddler. You can make it with whatever kind of noodles you wish, but my favorite are egg noodles or bow tie (Farfalle) Pasta. I also like to use hot Rotel rather than original to add some spice.

Yum Yum (Kielbasa, Spinach, and Rotel Pasta)
Delicious, quick, and easy kielbasa, spinach, and Rotel pasta
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 12 oz Package of beef smoked sausage (kielbasa), cut into slices.
- 1/2 White Onion, Diced
- 1 10 oz Can Rotel (I use hot Rotel to add some spice)
- 2 Cups Chicken Broth
- 8-10 oz Bow Tie (Farfalle) Pasta
- 2 Cups Spinach
- 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
- Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the olive oil has warmed, add the diced onion and sliced kielbasa to the skillet. Cook over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes or until kielbasa is brown and onions are translucent.
- Add the can of Rotel to the skillet and stir any browned bits off the bottom.
- Add the chicken stock to the skillet and bring to a boil.
- Once the skillet mixture is boiling add the bow tie pasta, turn the heat down to low, cover the skillet with a lid, and let simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until the pasta is nearly cooked.
- Add spinach to the skillet one cup at a time, letting spinach reduce in size with each cup. Stir in between additions.
- Once the spinach has wilted and is mixed evenly, add the mozzarella cheese over the top and cover over low heat for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted.
- Serve and Enjoy!

Yum yum is right! This was so easy to make, did it all in my cast iron skillet! The spicy Rotel added the perfect amount of heat. I did add some minced garlic, onion powder, and Italian seasoning but it doesn’t necessarily need to be added to! This will definitely be on our rotation!
